
Charity Golf Day - Friday 19 September 2008
The Charity Golf Day will be held at the Stonebridge Golf Club on Friday 19 September 2008.
Fee: £180 per team of 4
Handicap 7/8 of current to a maximum of 24
First prize to the value of £100
Golf numbers are restricted so apply now to avoid dissapointment.
The Daytime events
- Coffee and bacon rolls on arrival
- Players will be provided with a bucket of balls for the driving range before you commence your round.
- Tee off times between 12.00 and 2.00pm will be allocated before the event
- The Afternoon golf round will be an individual Stableford competition. This will be played on 7/8ths of handicap with a maximum handicap of 24
- There will be a prize for nearest the pin on the 8th hole and the longest drive on the 1st hole (The ball must be on the fairway)
- There is also a prize for the team with the highest “Red Ball” score. The rules for this competition will be provided on the day
- Buffet (served in the restaurant)

Tickets are only £5 each and the minimum prize draw will be £200. For ticket purchases contact either Gareth at The Hampton on 01675 443 464 or Lynn at The Stonebridge Golf Club on 01676 522 442 (option 2).
Funds raised from the Golf day will be divided between the Princes Trust and The Hampton Special Population Community Fund.
The Princes Trust assists young people to get started in business through planning courses, funding and ongoing mentoring. They help develop key skills, confidence and motivation, enabling young people to move into work, education or training. Last year the Trust supported 37,900 young people, of those, 73% moved into work, education or training.
The Hampton Special Population Fund aims to increase availability of physical activity to disabled and elderly people in the West Midlands area. Agreed developments include changing current showering/changing areas and the purchase of specialist equipment - all of which is aimed to improve the standard of life for these people
