New sport therapist at the Hampton!!!

In addition to Joanna Smith, who has helped many of you over the past 5 years, The Hampton is now offering a new sports Injury service.

Adam Whatley offers a full range of treatments including:

Treatment of chronic and acute conditions (initially pain relief, long term prevention)
Treating pre and post sports event (the conditioning of muscles for increasing performance)
Remedial and deep tissue massage techniques (clearing your muscles from built up waste and metabolites that can lead to pain)
Cryotherapy / Thermotherapy (reducing the effects of inflammation and therefore pain)
Common soft tissue and sports injuries (how joints/muscles become vulnerable in the first place to injury, then prevention)
Postural and biomechanical assessment (establish how the body can become vulnerable to different stresses and strains and therefore injuries)
Rehabilitation

Adam also offers sports massage therapy that is inclusive of deep tissue manipulation with remedial therapy, also with various forms of stretching techniques to improve muscle health and performance. He uses fine palpatory knowledge through his physical assessment to establish different patterns of dysfunction.

We are honored to have secured the services of such an experienced and qualified individual as Adam.
