Terry BI have been going to Hampton gym for over 15 years now. In that time I have done a variety of activities including aerobics, pilates, other dance workouts and personal training. I continue as a member of the gym because I find it to be a very friendly and flexible neighbourhood facility. This includes the people who attend as well as the staff. A particular mention is the regular personal training that I have with Sam several times a week. It is really motivating and incents me to do workouts. Sam is very flexible and although he makes sure I continue to improve my fitness he also ensures that he takes account of any problems or health issues. This allows me to do sessions regularly, which is a big help for my overall health and wellbeing
MarciaI joined the gym over 15 years ago having given a commitment of no more than three months, I was way out of my comfort zone. I didn’t do exercise!! Mainly my trainers have been Sam and Gareth, Sam having put up with me now for just over 10 years. Sam's focus is on his client during training sessions to ensure you do the excises correctly and also to assess how far you can progress within your capabilities. I was surprised when I started training sessions to find that I enjoyed them. It is a small gym, very welcoming and friendly and has been brilliantly reorganised to make it Covid safe.
