The day starts with our cross country walk starting from the gym at 8:30am over the Hilliers Garden Centre. It gets boggy at this time of year, so come prepared!
At 9:30 a second group (some might label them slackers – not us though) will join the hikers at the garden centre! Potentially the most important decision of the year is made here, with the two groups democratically choosing THE BEST Christmas tree to be ferried back to the gym!
Once back at the gym, decorating celebrations start from 10am and go on to 1pm (and beyond). We decorate, enjoy Christmas bangers, mince pies, a buffet, mulled wine and most importantly, EACH OTHER’S COMPANY!
We have such a great time each year, and ALL ARE WELCOME to join us, members, non-members and extended family!
